Entering South Africa requires a valid passport.
For visa requirements, please contact your nearest South African Embassy / diplomatic mission. South Africa requires a valid yellow fever certificate from all foreign visitors over one year of age travelling from an infected area or having been in transit through infected areas. Infected areas include Zambia and Angola in southern Africa.
Certain passport holders are exempt from obtaining a visa for South Africa. See list http://www.dha.gov.za/index.php/immigration-services/exempt-countries
The conference organisers cannot accept any responsibility for visa applications. The normal cancellation policy for the registration fee and accommodation will apply if delegates are unable to attend.
If you require a visa letter, please register for the conference, pay your registration and accommodation fees in full and request the letter from firstname.lastname@example.org
If you have a stopover in another country prior to arriving in South Africa, you may require a Transit Visa for that country’s airport.
The Department Home Affairs is responsible for South Africa’s visa policy. Please click here for more info. http://www.dha.gov.za/index.php/applying-for-sa-visa
